A challenge arcade is an immersive entertainment facility where players tackle a variety of 1-5 minute games that can range from mental games that play like micro-escape rooms to physical games such as jumping across pressure pads to cross a room. When you arrive, you get an entry code which will allow you to play whichever games you want as much as you want while you are there.

Plix Plex has 26 games split across four themed zones. They are split into three categories. Mental, skill, and physical. Each zone will have games of all three types. Each game also has three achievements to unlock which can either slightly or drastically alter how you play them.

The majority of our games are entirely wheelchair accessible and will say so on the door outside the room. Before you enter, you will quickly be able to tell what type of game it is and what kinds of accessibility it affords. Some of the physical games may include obstacles, running, or jumping, but they only represent about a third of the games in our facility.

You can cancel your reservation for a full refund up to 2 hours before the start time on your booking. Game slots which have passed or which are less than 2 hours away are non-refundable.

You can bring as few as 2 people or as many as 200. While each game is designed for a 2-6 person capacity, your group can mix and match teams as much as you want during each game.

While all ages are allowed in the facility, kids under age 6 will not be able to enter the game rooms. Kids ages 6-10 may have some difficulty completing some of the games and we do recommend an adult be a part of each team.

There is no strict dress code onsite, but given the physical nature of some of the games, we generally recommend flexible clothing and close-toed shoes. If you are participating in physical games, you may need to crawl, climb, run, and roll, so it is best to be prepared.

We happily welcome walk-ins. We can’t guarantee availability since our facility has a capacity cap, so we recommend you book online or call ahead, but we always expect to have some availability and the time slots cycle every 15 minutes, so the wait would never be long.

Unlike most challenge arcades, our games don’t have immediate fail states. From the moment you walk into a room to the moment you walk out, you can expect about 3 minutes or so of gameplay. If you fail to achieve the objective within that time, you can simply scan back in to retry the same game, or you can explore around.
