Welcome to the Bootleg Borough; PlixPlex Challenge Arcade

Virginia Beach’s first and only challenge arcade offers four gaming zones each with a unique theme and challenge games. The fourth and final area in our facility is the Bootleg Borough. Players are transported into a noir-themed crime investigation set in a world of anthropomorphic characters. Upon launch 4 of the 5 games will be available.

Challenge Games inside the Bootleg Borough

Fast and Feathrous

Players assist employees at the local hospital with the transportation of ostrich eggs to the nursery ward. Groups will need to use spoons to guide an ostrich egg through an enclosed obstacle course, and deliver the egg safely to the nest.

Tower Tycoon

This game will involve helping a team of beaver builders construct a tower. (will not be available on launch)

Casino Scramble

Will have players participating in a game of poker at the local casino. The walls have large depictions of playing cards, with a white button next to each. The TV at the back of the room will display the name of a poker hand and one card. For example, flush, 2 of spades. Players will need to search the room for cards that display spades and press their corresponding button.

Rat Trap

Has players helping the local police searching apartments to locate a burglar. A TV near the game’s entrance shows a map of the apartment complex. Each apartment has an icon associated with it, like an address. One of these apartments will be glowing, indicating this apartment needs to be searched. Players will need to crawl into the maze in search of the door that corresponds with the correct icon, and press the button on the door.

Purrhibition

A dueling game where players are racing to sort balls of colored yarn into buckets. Whoever sorts their yarn first wins.
