Themed Game Rooms
In a typical challenge arcade, either the entire facility has one light theme, or each game is individually themed. Plix Plex is split into four distinctly themed zones that permeate both in and out of the games.
The Bootleg Borough – Players are transported into a noir-themed crime investigation set in a world of anthropomorphic characters.
Cyber City – An exciting new cyber punk themed game zone full of skill based games.
The Robo Refinery – Based on a sci-fi themed robot factory that manufactures robots. Each game in this zone is meant to replicate the process needed to produce one of these robots.
Viking Village – Has players completing various challenges themed around different gods from viking mythology including Frey, Ullr, Odin, Thor and Surtr.
What is Meta Progression?
In other challenge arcades or other entertainment facilities like laser tag for example, you might earn points to reach the top of a leaderboard, and your reward is the inherent fun you have playing the game. At Plix Plex, players can unlock achievements by approaching each game in a unique way. Each game has three achievements to unlock, players can win free prizes and gain access to hidden boss levels! We even track your group’s achievements across multiple visits so you can pick up where your squad left off when you return.
